The average price of an owner-occupied dwelling (excluding newbuild homes) in the Netherlands increased 0.7% in March 2025 on the previous month, according to Statistics Netherlands (CBS).
On an annual bases house prices were 10.6% higher in March, matching the same annual rise in February. House prices have been on the rise since August 2022 and were 10.3% higher than at their previous peak in July 2022.
The total number of housing transactions recorded in the month of March was 17,211, a 6% increase on a year earlier, with the average transaction price for owner-occupied dwellings at €467,873 according to The Netherlands’ Cadastre.
