A quarter of all small mortgage lenders and brokers are misinforming customers about the amount of fees and charges that they will have to pay on their home loan, according to a recent investigation.
The Financial Services Authority unveiled that 25% of Key Facts Illustrations issued by small and medium sized brokers and small lenders contained errors in their detailing of fees and charges.
