Planning permission has been secured by Nexus Planning on behalf of Wythenshawe Community Housing Group (WCHG) and nationwide place maker, Muse, for the redevelopment of Alpha House in Wythenshawe town centre.
The approved scheme will see the former office building Alpha House redeveloped to provide 125 one- and two-bedroom apartments, delivering affordable homes that respond to both local need and wider growth ambitions.
Jack Dickinson, Associate Director of Nexus Planning Manchester, said: “Securing planning permission for Alpha House is a major achievement and a key step forward in delivering Wythenshawe’s important regeneration programme.
“We have worked closely with WCHG, Muse and Levitt Bernstein to shape a proposal that is both policy-compliant and deliverable, while responding to the needs and ambitions of the local area.”
