New BTR development in Bristol 70% let

Grainger plc had announced the completion and successful lease-up of Millwrights Place, its second of three developments in Bristol, which combined will provide 833 new, high-quality, energy-efficient homes and include affordable housing.

Millwrights Place will contain 231 new studios, one, and two-bed rental homes and is Grainger's second BTR development in the city, following the successful launch of Hawkins & George in 2019.

It created nearly 230 new jobs locally, with 8 direct hires and 220 indirectly through construction.

Helen Gordon, Chief Executive of Grainger, said: "We believe that Bristol is an excellent place to be investing, and our latest scheme, Millwrights Place, provides high-quality homes managed by a dedicated on-site team, raising the bar for Bristol renters.

“We look forward to welcoming our newest residents to Millwrights Place and to our continued delivery of new homes in this fantastic city with the 2025 launch of Glasshouse Square."

Residents have access to a variety of amenities and benefits, such as a free on-site gym, super-fast fibre optic broadband, spacious resident's lounge, co-working space, meeting pods, private dining room, exercise studio, and a dedicated onsite Resident Services team.

Grainger’s other two developments, Hawkins & George and Glasshouse Square, will provide 194 and 408 homes respectively.
