Speculative trade units in Long Eaton receive planning

Clowes Developments have been granted planning consent from Erewash District Council to speculatively build out phase 2 of Forbes Park, Long Eaton.

Three speculatively built units totalling 45,000sq ft will be built and will be located to the left-hand side of the main entrance. The two front units (A & B) are already under offer with interest gaining momentum on the other unit C a detached unit of 2,364sq m (25,445sq ft) with excellent specification and external yard space.

Chris Proctor, FHP Property Consultants, said, “More space becoming available at Forbes Park is great news for the market at a time when we continue to see remarkable levels of demand across all sizes and spheres of the East Midlands commercial property market from both tenants and potential purchasers alike. Hats off to Clowes for proactively building much needed stock speculatively across the region.”

The contractor Roe Developments are already onsite having recently completed the earth works in readiness to start building phase 1 of the development known as Forbes Court which offers a total of 32,562 sq ft across 11 trade / industrial / warehouse units.
