Nottingham mixed-use scheme approved

A resolution to grant planning permission for Conygar's mixed use scheme in the centre of Nottingham has been passed by Nottingham City Council.

The development of over two million square feet includes offices, apartments and student housing will be formally granted upon the signing of a S.106 agreement between the parties.

Robert Ware, Chief Executive of Conygar said: "We are delighted with the decision of the planning committee which follows a long period of consultation with the Council and other local stakeholders. This is a significant step toward the redevelopment of this important site for Nottingham and we will continue to work closely with the Council to bring the scheme forward as soon as possible."

The plans include 17,274 sqm of creative market uses, 58,885 sqm of class B1 office space, 91,888 sqm of residential space which will create over 900 flats, 27,030 sqm of student accommodation comprising 666 beds, a 8,118-square metre hotel and 1,796 car parking spaces.
