Edgbaston office building becoming apartments

A 22,000 sq ft office building situated within walking distance of central Birmingham is already well underway to becoming 41 apartments.

Newland House on the Hagley Road in Edgbaston will be transformed into a range of studio and one & two bedroom apartments. The development features a residents' club lounge and cinema room, reception foyer and 10 secure parking spaces.

John Southall, Director of developer BPG, said: “Newland House is in a prime location for anyone working in central Birmingham.

Edgbaston has become much more desirable because it's now home to some of the best pubs and restaurants in Birmingham, so property tends to be snapped up quickly. Residents will not only benefit from the nearby regeneration scheme but also the new tram stop on the Hagley Road, which is due to open in 2021. The conversion will be of a high specification and finish, and in a style appealing to young professionals in particular.”
