Full planning approval has been secured by HOW Planning for the redevelopment of a 3.25ha allocated site in Ulverston by developer Rawdon Property Group.
Rawdon intends to transform the site into an extensive employment-led, mixed use development now the application for the Beehive Business Park, which was submitted to South Lakeland District Council, has been approved.
Conor Vallelly, Associate at HOW Planning, said: “This is an excellent result. We know from the feedback that the majority of the people in Ulverston and the surrounding area want to see this development delivered. It will create many opportunities for the local community and the wider district, acting as a catalyst for investment to the area.”
Permission has been granted for the erection of employment units, which create over 300 jobs, including two retail foodstore units, for occupiers Aldi & Marks & Spencer plus a veterinary practice.
