£210m mixed-use scheme set for Hounslow

Barratt London have launched a £210m mixed-use scheme, High Street Quarter, in the centre of Hounslow.

The development will contain 528 high-quality homes and over 134,000 sq ft of commercial floor space, including a new multiplex Cineworld and a range of new restaurants, cafes and shops.

Ed McCoy, sales director at Barratt West London, said: “High Street Quarter will deliver one of the most exciting masterplans in London, breathing new life into Hounslow Town Centre, and supporting this vibrant and diverse community. Over 40% of the homes here will be affordable housing and most of the private homes will be available through London Help to Buy.”

The development includes a 27-storey residential tower and secure underground parking for 120 cars, as well as bike storage and electric car charging points.

Help to Buy will be available from mid-2019, with first residents moving in by the end of the year.

The development is expected to complete by 2021.
