Planning permission has been granted to Taylor Wimpey UK for the construction of a residential development on land at Flat Lane in Kelsall, Cheshire.

The site will see 89 new homes built, including 31 affordable properties and includes improved pedestrian links between the site and existing local facilities.

Matthew Robinson, planner at HOW Planning, said: "There is a need for high quality homes and the developer has a proven track record within the industry for delivering housing schemes such as this."

HOW Planning initially secured outline planning consent in November 2013.
