Planning permission has been secured for a new £13m residential development in Coventry by Persimmon Homes South Midlands.
Coventry City Council approved the reserved matters application for 100 new homes on a 6.9 acre site, which is unoccupied, off Holbrook Way. The homes will be two, three and four bedroom properties in a range of designs.
Andy Peters, managing director, Persimmon Homes South Midlands, said: "Our investment in Coventry forms an integral part of our expansion programme to bring further new homes to the region to meet the growing demand."
The vacant site was formerly a joinery works, however it was cleared in 2004 after a fire destroyed the buildings. Construction at the site is scheduled to begin immediately with properties being marketed for sale from March 2015.
