Putney mixed use scheme approved

A major new mixed-use scheme by London Square consisting of 76 new apartments and penthouses, plus over 19,000 sqft of retail and office space has been approved.

The site is located at 113 Upper Richmond Road in Putney, SW15 and will be a 12-storey brick-clad building. It will have 28 one bedroom apartments, 40 two bedroom apartments and 8 premier apartments with large south-facing terraces. The retail and office space will be arranged over the ground and first floors of the building, with the residential units occupying the ten upper floors.

Adam Lawrence, chief executive of London Square, said: "London Square Putney is an outstanding new scheme in a sought-after part of the capital, which will transform the heart of SW15."

London Square purchased the 0.5 acre former office premises from Briargrove Limited and Investec Bank in June 2011, and expects to start construction work on site in May 2013 with it completed in 2015.
