Apartment prices in the Baltic Capital cities of Vilnius and Tallinn decreased by 0.2% and 2.4% respectively during April 2012 according to Ober-Haus’ Baltic Apartment Price Index.

The greatest price change in Vilnius was recorded for old apartments in residential districts of the city, where prices decreased 0.9%.

The average prices per sqm now stand at €1,202 and €1,093 respectively in Vilnius and Tallinn, whilst prices are now 39.4% and 36% below their peak.
In Riga, Latvia apartment prices have increased by 0.5% for the second month in a row, giving an overall increase in the last 12 months of 4.5%. However since the highest price level was reached in May 2007 apartment prices have fallen by 57.8%.
