We are all adults here so no need to go too deep with all the reasons you should have a plan. That said there is a quote that puts this time of year and the annual plan into perspective.
"IF YOU DON'T DESIGN YOUR OWN LIFE PLAN, CHANCES ARE YOU'LL FALL INTO SOMEONE ELSE'S PLAN. AND GUESS WHAT THEY HAVE PLANNED FOR YOU? - NOT MUCH." - JIM ROHN
It has also been said that the key is not the plan as much as the exercise of planning. The questions you ask yourself. The soul searching and decisions that go into a plan bring to the surface many of the issues which are critical to your success.
This past weekend I ran a workshop for property investors. Most are rather experienced with sig-nificant investments already. This is the second year I have run the workshop. The focus is on get-ting clear what each of them want to do. For some it is finding the money. Others want to systemise how to pick the right deals, given their goals.
As expected, the biggest thing holding each person back is the self-talk and F.E.A.R. Yet each has already been successful in getting to where they already are. The future looks hard while the present we tend to under value. That is how self-talk works.
