The Solicitors Regulatory Authority (SRA) has recently warned that members of the public are being sent emails from a firm ‘Swift Properties’ providing a list of properties which can be purchased at a discount subject to a reservation fee. Potential investors are being requested to send the reservation fee to a ‘Tams & Co Solicitors’.
However the SRA said that is does not regulate or authorise any firm called ‘Tams & Co Solicitors’ and that any business or transactions through the above is not undertaken by a solicitors practice or individual(s) authorised or regulated by the SRA.
Any business or transactions through the address at 601 Regents Street, London, W1B 2QD, or the email address info@tamsandco.co.uk, telephone number 0207 1274172 or via the website www.tamsandco.co.uk are not undertaken by a solicitors practice or an individual authorised or regulated by the SRA.
The SRA has states that any information about or anyone having dealings with ‘Tams & Co Solicitors’ - particularly if it involves the payment of money - should be reported to the police.
