Manchester based property firm, Sagon, has over the past 14 months, purchased over 100 flats near the beach front in Blackpool and is planning to buy a further 40 in the near future, in the anticipation that Blackpool will win the right to site a Las Vegas style super-casino.

A decision on where the super-casino will be located is expected towards the end of 2006 or early 2007.
