A planning application for a £500m marina complex in Silvertown, east London, has been submitted by Ballymore Properties.

It is believed that the application for the 35-acre Minoco Wharf site includes 250,000 sq ft of offices, retail and leisure facilities and up to 4,000 new homes.

Ballymore is currently developing in the region of 4m sq ft of commercial space and 18,000 new homes in the UK with a total estimated completion value of around £7bn.
