Scotland has the best performing property market in the UK, according to the latest UK housing market survey from the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors in Scotland (RICS Scotland).

The monthly survey has seen Scotland outperforming all areas of the UK. House price growth in April remained firm while buyer enquiries grew at the fastest rate since 2004. Across Scotland chartered surveyors pointed to a lack of supply increasing competition and driving up prices.

Scottish chartered surveyors are forecasting that Scottish property prices will continue to grow.
