House sales rose for the third month running in March, suggesting that consumer confidence in the residential property market is back, according to the National Association of Estate Agents (NAEA) monthly housing survey.

House sales have increased by an astounding 40% since January, from an average of 10 sales to 14 per agent in March; this is a 16% rise on March 2005.
