Property prices soar in Edinburgh

Average residential property prices in the centre of Edinburgh rose by 19% in Q1, according to Edinburgh Solicitors Property Centre (ESPC).

ESPCs report reveals that average property prices in the city jumped 8.3% compared with the same period last year, and now stand at £179,215, compared to £165,450 in 2005.

Outside of Edinburgh, property prices rose across the Lothians, while the number of sales in West Fife and Kinross increased by 40%.
