New homes launched at Colindale Gardens development in North London

Redrow is launching a brand-new release of apartments at Colindale Gardens on the site of the former Metropolitan Police training centre in North London.

There will be a collection of 56 studio and one- and two-bedroom homes, which will sit across three buildings in the Dianthus Collection; Dahlia House, Diascia House and Darmera House.

Jody Bryant, Director of Sales at Redrow Greater London, said: “Colindale is fast becoming a new destination for Northwest London, and we’re excited to see the latest phase of our flagship community come to life. This launch very much marks the halfway point of Colindale Gardens, and we’re delighted that just over 2000 people now call the community home.”

All of the new apartments in the Dianthus Collection will offer an open-plan kitchen and living room creating an inviting, practical space. The kitchen will feature modern integrated appliances and smart soft close cabinets.

Every single newly launched apartment will feature outdoor space, whether that’s a private balcony or terrace and access to a residents-only landscaped podium garden. All residents of the newly launched homes will also have access to a 24-hour concierge and outdoor play areas and exercise equipment.

Colindale Gardens is a short stroll from Colindale Station on the Northern Line, with access to both the West End (23 minutes) and the City (29 minutes) in under half an hour.

The homes in the Dianthus Collection are due to complete in Autumn 2024.

Redrow has also agreed to the sale of 249 new build homes at the Colindale Gardens to Barnet Council. The exchange of contracts follows the Council's ambitious commitment to deliver 1,000 new affordable homes by 2026.

The majority of the new homes, ranging from studios to three-bedroom family apartments, will be made available for rent starting in October 2023. The remaining homes will follow in January 2024.

Paul Muldowney, Managing Director of Redrow London, said: "We are delighted to collaborate with Barnet Council in providing 249 new homes for affordable rent. At Redrow, we are committed to making a positive impact on the local community and we firmly believe that everyone deserves access to safe, comfortable, and affordable housing. We look forward to seeing our homes become vibrant spaces where families and individuals from all backgrounds are able to thrive."

The 249 homes are part of the latest phase of the esteemed Colindale Gardens development, praised for its exceptional design and modern amenities.
