Images of Brighton’s Edward Street Quarter have been released showing the offices, homes, cafes, restaurants and leisure facilities which will be part of the development upon completion.
The mixed-use development by property developer First Base provides 110,000 sq ft of office space, which have been designed with a post-Covid world in mind.
Steve Eccles, Project Director at First Base, said: “Everyone wants to be inspired, and that’s exactly what we’ve set out to achieve at Edward Street Quarter.
“The office space is designed to be sociable and collaborative, but still provide private spots which allow for quiet concentration. It’s somewhere where we hope people can feel happy, healthy and fulfilled, with outside space, cafes, restaurants and leisure facilities to enjoy on site too.”
The development also includes three public green spaces, heavily planted with mature trees and an ‘edible’ garden full of herbs, walking and cycling trails around the site to encourage people to exercise. Plus, cycle parking and shower and a library to encourage people to take a break and read.
