800 homes announced for Derby

Ashley Adams, part of the Connells Group, has presented the Nightingale Quarter development in the city-centre of Derby, from leading developer Wavensmere Homes.

Set on the site of the former Derbyshire Royal Infirmary, Nightingale Quarter, covering more than 18.5 acres, is one of the largest city centre regeneration sites in the UK and will have 800 properties, including 125 luxury two and three-bedroom homes alongside a collection of apartments.

Hannah Kelham, Head of Ashley Adams New Homes East Midlands, said: “The stunning conversion of the iconic pepper pot buildings, teamed with new homes that fit seamlessly into the historic surroundings, creates a truly unique place to live.”

The development will include cycle routes, an open-air gym and fitness area, and children’s play areas. The construction of a primary and nursery school serving the new homes at Nightingale Quarter has also recently been announced.
