Planning approval has been secured for Hatton Garden Properties Ltd’s Queens Yard development in Hackney Wick at the London Legacy Development Corporation (LLDC) virtual Planning Committee by Shaw Corporation.
The mixed-use scheme, located next to Hackney Wick Overground Station and Jubilee Park, will deliver 143 high quality new Build-to-Rent homes, 2,932 sqm GIA of modern flexible workspace and retail units and secures the delivery of a permanent site for a new Yard Theatre.
David Pearl said: “We are delighted that we have helped create a lasting genuinely mixed-use legacy at the heart Hackney Wick. As a major supporter of the arts I am pleased that we have helped secure a permanent site for the Yard Theatre.”
The new buildings will complement two existing warehouse buildings that are to be retained and provide studios and microbreweries.
