£90m mixed-use Milton Keynes development green lit

Milton Keynes Council has given the green light to Crest Nicholson’s £90m mixed-use development at Campbell Park.

The development will comprises 383 new homes that include villas, townhouses and apartments, alongside new shops, restaurants, a pub, and nursery facilities.

The plans also include a 117 berth marina, which in the future will form the start of a canal link between Milton Keynes and Bedford.

Doug Smith, Principal Director at TP Bennett, working on behalf of Crest Nicholson, said “Milton Keynes is the original new town but is ready for an injection of investment that will revitalise the area.  This mixed-use scheme will create a stylish and social destination only 32 minutes from London and offer new homes for a growing community.”

The design of Campbell Park includes the Grand Union canal that borders the site, areas of natural woodland and Campbell Park itself, and aims to give the community a fresh modern development but one that respects the existing environment.
