Plans, submitted by the Vinco Group, for a 656 unit residential scheme on the edge of Liverpool city centre have been approved by Liverpool City Council.
Located on Leeds Street, the Freemasons development - as it will be known - consists of four separate residential towers of 16 storeys around three landscaped courtyards.
Chris Boles, senior project manager for Vinco, said: “Our team has worked hard to ensure that that the scheme delivers an impressive new development which provides a significant number of high-quality residential apartments in an up-and-coming area of the city.
“Liverpool’s planning committee has a great approach in welcoming innovative design which will enhance the city scape and deliver much needed residential accommodation.”
The scheme will provide a mix of one and two-bedroom apartments, studios and three-storey, two-bed townhouses with car parking for 92 cars and 248 spaces for cycle storage.
On the ground floor are a number of commercial spaces that will be marketed to fill the needs of the local community as well as owners of the homes. Residents can also make use of a ground floor gym and business centre within
the scheme.
