The London Borough of Brent has unanimously granted the second phase of Quintain's 85-acre Wembley Park scheme, which will provide 475 new homes, 433 of which will be privately owned.
The development will consist of a series of seven buildings of various heights arranged around an acre of private gardens. It will
be within five minutes' walk of both Wembley Park tube station and the new London Designer Outlet.
Maxwell James, Chief Executive of Quintain, said: "Londoners want to live in a neighbourhood with soul as well as excellent amenities. With a century of history as a leisure destination, two iconic world-class entertainment venues, London's only designer outlet and Bond Street within 20 minutes by Tube, this new development at Wembley Park will be unique in London and highly attractive to those seeking a great place to live."
The new homes at Wembley Park have been designed to attract buyers from the mid and upper mainstream brackets with 416 of the apartments planned as one or two bedroom homes.
Construction of the new development is anticipated to begin next summer, with the first homes being completed in 2016.
Quintain holds outline consent for 8.5m sqft of development at Wembley Park, which surrounds the National Stadium and encompasses Wembley Arena. 1.8m sqft of development has been completed to date.
