Since the early autumn period we have attended a number of property events including the long-established Property Investor Show at the Excel Centre in London Docklands, which took place in mid-October. There are of course many other events for landlords and property investors taking place across the UK during the year; some are quite local events run by local councils, while others are more commercially minded.
Apart from the two large-scale annual events at Excel which always attracts thousands of attendees, another regular on the circuit is the series of Landlord and Letting Shows, which we attended at the Barbican in September and most recently at Stoneleigh Park in Coventry. Both shows were well attended on both days. These events are perhaps tailored for the more traditional landlord, which the seminar content reflects, as most dealt with the 'nitty-gritty' of landlordism and the more practical issues around property and tenancy management.
Jo Ensby, Marketing Consultant for AEP Media said: "We have seen a marked increase in both visitor footfall and the number of exhibitors looking to market their products and services to private rented sector professionals."
