Property involves time, money and expertise. We all have our own limits to each of these but we logically want to do better (which includes less risk as well as better returns of money and time). You can assume this usually involves doing either more deals or bigger deals or different deals.

The trouble is most of us aren’t superhuman or possessing endless cash or time. The vast majority of professional investors let alone dabblers are looking to reap the lifestyle benefits of successful property investment.

How can we get there a bit faster? A bit easier? With a bit more certainty? Usually the answer is either with more time or more money or an enhanced approach. Strategic partnerships are one option, done well with the right people in the right structure they can accelerate growth, manage risk and seize new opportunities.

LOOK LONG AND HARD THEN LEVERAGE EACH OTHER
Like all endeavours you need to invest time at the front end to increase the chances of success. It is said business owners spend 80% of their time on problems to do with their staff but under 2% of their time on hiring and onboarding the staff.

From the start you need to take responsibility for the total result when you put your hand up to get into business with someone. Do the work not just to find the person, but to get that right person for you and ensure that it is set up properly. The correct structure for the partners involved and the project or venture is essential.
