Countrywide Property Auctions held their latest event at the Le Meridian Hotel in London's Piccadilly on the 21st May. It was one of four auctions the company were holding up to the 29th May, with others taking place in Manchester (22nd), Exeter (28th) and Sheffield (29th).

Very few of the lots on offer at this London based event were properties located in the capital but most regions of England and Ireland had lots up for sale.

Of the 35 lots on sale, 6 were sold prior but 19 were withdrawn and therefore were not up for sale in the room, which represented a significant proportion of the auction catalogue. As such the attendance in the room was not as high as at some recent auctions in London that we have attended but there was still some keen bidding taking place. The auctioneer's success rate from the lots being offered was 69% thereby raising £3,100,500.
