Revised plans submitted for Princesshay Shopping Centre

The Crown Estate and TH Real Estate’s plans for an extension to Princesshay Shopping Centre have been submitted to Exeter City Council for approval.

Although outline consent for the scheme was formally granted in July 2016, this will comprise a Reserved Matters Planning Application looks at detailed design elements of the scheme, covering things like materials and architecture.

John Grinnell, from The Crown Estate, said: “This is a technically complex scheme so we’re very pleased to have submitted the reserved matters planning application before the end of the year. We’re looking forward to a decision on the plans from the City Council in due course.”

The plans have been submitted by The Crown Estate and TH Real Estate following extensive consultation with the local community earlier last year. A two day public exhibition was held in July 2016 to showcase the latest proposals for the development.
