Katowice was the only city in Poland to see an increase in December 2011

Across Poland apartment prices have fallen in all but one major city during December 2011, with the biggest fall coming in Lodz where they decreased 1.5%, bringing the average apartment price down to €924 per sqm according to Ober-Haus.

An increase was recorded during December of 0.2% in Katowice but prices still fell in Pozna?, Gda?sk, Warsaw and Cracow by 0.6%, 0,3%, 0,2% and 0.1% respectively.

In the year to December 2011 the price of apartments decreased the most in Lodz with a fall of 12.3% and the least in Warsaw by 1.8%. However prices are still below their peak recorded in July 2007 by 31.3% in Lodz and by 10.9% in Warsaw.
